Deborah brought us some okra she bought at the farmers market. The last they had. Too bad Mary had to throw it out. Old and dried.

She also brought me a bag filled with little plastic soldiers. Bought it for ten cents. Must have remembered how I would have died for those little men when I was little. But, what will I do with them now?


While Mary worked on Mother's hair, I went outside to take test shots of a hibiscus bloom. White flowers are a challenge for me. But, the Canon gave me good detail.


The fab four feasted on Mary's carne encebollada entomatada with seared garden squash, gold browned potato, garden tomato and pickled okra. I had to have my okra fix. Cantaloupe on the side.


Mother was alert today. She even managed a win in rummy.

I finally looked the email from from Sam at Collins & Miller. Looks like TAPCO is going to see things my way.
