| | Mary got up early and went to a special mass for the Assumption held at 8:30 am. Left my bowl of oatmeal on the kitchen table.
We had salad for lunch. I thought the S100 did a pretty good job capturing it using natural light, no flash. Usually I am put off by the shadows that show. Not this time.
Walmart. I spotted Ray Ledbetter.
Mary has been preoccupied, trying to get Antonio's affairs straightened out. I would tell her not to borrow misery. But, what good would that do? He's her one and only son.
After supper, I scootered out. Mary asked if I were ready for my popsicle. I said yes. She brought me one outside, hiding it behind her. Sometimes I see the popsicle and cheat. I'm supposed to guess what flavor, you see. Seldom do I guess right the first time. Nevertheless, I always act as though I had done something miraculous when I finally do. She laughs. This happens every day. One of our many foolish little games.
I've been peaceful all today. No wonder my heart rate was all the way down to 71 midway through. Irritants are so far away. At least for now.
