| | Mary has been sorely vexed after spotting a mouse last night in the living room. We suspect Marcelino of providing access for the intruder.
Upon downloading yesterday's PNG (Portable Network Graphics) file and analyzing it with ThumbsPlus, it finally dawned upon me the purpose of alpha channels. I don't know if I should be proud of figuring it out on my own, or embarrassed that it took me until now to do so.
Too bad ThumbsPlus doesn't have a wand selection tool.
Began to feel more up after considering that these next three weeks are without doctors' appointments.

While Mary was at mass today, I went out and tried an idea that just came to me. If the fish-eye effect works well with a lunch plate, maybe it would go well with Mary's potted plants. Didn't work out. So, I settled for a straightforward shot of Mary's marigolds. They are currently having a second life.
Funny how the same trees, old barn, etc. that gave me no pleasure yesterday, are a source of peace and joy today.
With leftover beef cutlets and stewed potatoes, we had pickled beets, tomato, spicy pickled cauliflower and avocado for lunch. Bosc pear wedges and black grapes as appetizers.
Watched The Silent House aka La Casa Muda (2010) from Netflix. Spanish. Creepy, dark house full of spine-tingling sounds.
Delores paid us a visit. Her topic of the day was Sam's benefitting from Marion's Social Security, to her detriment.
