• Mother's Day

  
  Mary served beef with onion & tomato today. From a chuck roast. Very tender and juicy.

  Deborah was with George at her house, attending to a water leak, so was late joining us. Mary decided David could learn to play rummy with us. I gritted my teeth with my natural impatience. It was worth it when David, at length, announced, "I have a good family". Mary was very happy. A lesson for us all.
