cough syrup

When Anna brought Leah this morning, Leah was not feeling well at all. Painful cough. No interest in food nor cartoons. Just sat quietly on couch or chair. When Leah is not running all over the place getting into things, you know something's wrong.Mary's homemade cough syrup seemed to help. Apple cider vinegar with honey.

Salmon for lunch, with stewed butternut squash, steamed carrots and asparagus.Instead of eating, Leah slept for two hours. I explored the woods trail out back. It was loaded with trilliums.

Toadstool Trillium: Sony Watercolor Effect.
By the time Robert picked up Leah, she was feeling much better.

I'm glad Leah got to feeling better.
Poor Leah! It is so sad when they aren't feeling well. I hope she bounces back soon. I love trillium - and the watercolor effect works well with this photo!
It's always hard to see a little one feel poorly.
Maybe I should try out Mary's cough syrup!
Glad Mary was able to help Leah!
That's a neat shot of the trillium! I'm glad Leah felt better so quickly -- Mary's potion reminds me of the one my mother used for us -- honey and lemon!
That cold remedy works every time!
love the salmon lunch and the trillium too ~
