Partied with the BBC on YouTube last night. Episode 9 of World War 1: The Great War. A subject that has always fascinated me.

    Chilly and wet today.

We misbehaved. Shared a medium DiGiorno's pepperoni pizza for lunch. Better than what we had delivered from Pizza Hut week before last.

George came twice to work on the mower. Took care of five problems. It runs like a top now. :-)

Mary realized she only had this evening to shop for Leah's birthday present. At Goody's, she bought a little outfit for her. In TSC she bought a Leah-sized sweeping broom. I spent my time dodging shoppers. Better than stewing in my own juices at home.

    Where am I headed?

    56.4 °F, partly cloudy.

  • Glad you decided to go shopping to get out and about. I wish I could convince my husband to join me shopping - he'd rather have teeth pulled!!! Sounds like you will be heading to the outdoors and then going in circles mowing the lawn. Driving the riding mower might be fun!

  • Hmm, WWI. That series sounds interesting, and I, too, would like to learn more about The Great War.

  • Those DiGiorno’s pizzas are good. I'm glad that you are better enough from the bronchitis that you could get out. Leah will love the broom! Whenever I buy gifts for our grands, I always have to pick up a new outfit for them as well as other items (toy, book, etc.)

  • This mower is really an enormous engine!! :)

  • I like DiGiorno's too, though I haven't had one in quite some time.

  • getting kids presents is always fun.

I think WW1 would be interesting ,too.

I know more about WW2 then the first war.

  • Like Jilly said, getting some husbands to shop is like pulling teeth.

Nice looking mower. I never had one---most were the push kind with no electric power. lol

  • The same weather that cramps your style in TN, brought snowflakes to Chicago this morning.
