a fan, almost
Mary was up earlier than usual to mow grass before the midday heat set in.
Chicken breast, green beans with almonds, and rice and sweet corn torrejitas for lunch. Avocado on the side.
A friendly technician from Medical Necessities came to check on the oxygen concentrator.
Brazil tying Mexico at the World's Cup. Excellent. I could almost become a fan of soccer.
Ventured out. The air was think. After only an hour, came back in where I could breath. Feeling trapped, I watched my Blu-ray Big Sur on the big screen. Very calming.
88.6 °F, clear. (feels like 94 °F)

Another tasty lunch. Sorry that the heat was oppressive today. We hit 90 but now it is cooling off with some thunderstorms. Sparky has been watching the World Cup. He's just happy the US team beat Ghana.
I've been enjoying the World Cup... as long as USA doesn't make it to the finals, then I'm fine with whoever wins
It was terribly hot here the last two days. I hope our delayed thunderstorms come soon to give us rain and some relief.
is Big Sur a surfing movie?
It was a good lunch .
I watched the match Brazil-Mexoco :0-0 ! Mexico has a good guard of goal .

makes me want to go eat an avocado ~
I love your meals. Like I have said before, I feel like a third world country citizen looking at those great plates.
We've been having pretty oppressive heat, too. Past couple of days -- 90 F. But, I'm not complaining! Just keep in AC, and when it isn't so hot, go out for enjoying the heat.
The rice and sweet corn torrejitas look and sound delicious! Could you share the recipe?
