Feeling some better.
Anna dropped off Leah this morning.

Mary with Leah.

It is more of the same that you and I have seen since childhood, John. ISIS will go the way of Hitler and Saddam. Ebola will be like AIDS and the Spanish Flu. In the meantime, you have Mary's fine cooking, and I have my blended fusion smoothies.
We will alway have our plagues and wars. It is the fate of humanity. I would hope that we can each find that little spot of peace in our lives - be it a loving lap, a perch in the breezes of summer, the warmth of family or the sunny smile of a long time friend...
I tried Tilapia once in Vegas... good eats, although I heard some negative things about it too. And I'm a fish eater. Yeah, I agree, much of the world sucks, never ends.
I had to read twice. At first I thought it just said Anna dropped Leah, and I thought "Oh NO! Is she ok?", but then realized I had missed an important word in that sentence. I am glad she is fine. I know Mary loves watching her.
There are negative things in the world, but we can still make a point to take time to notice the positives in our lives.
Your meals are absolutely amazing.
