  • lovin' it

Calm, self-confident and positive thinking throughout the day. Love it!

Beef for lunch, with turnip greens and green beans from George's garden and cornbread. A meal that went straight to my heart.

Everyone was much pleased to see Mother more like herself. She never required the transport chair, ate well and was at the top of her game in rummy.

Marion had a more difficult time than usual, waiting in desperation for his two o'clock medication. Sad. When he arrived this morning, he had been making plans for a new project, scanning old family pictures to make copies. But, by the time the game ended, he had lost all hope.

Everyone's eyes on the cards, except Harrison's.

Andrea took Marion and Mother home, as Mary and I watched Harrison. After she returned for him, Mary and I took two checks to deposit for Mother at First Farmers, then picked up a medication at Kroger. We ran into Maricruz, husband and Jorge in the parking lot.

    118 lbs.

  • Harrison seems concerned for Marion... they say animals and infants can tell when someone is feeling sad. I hope the calm seas remain for you and perhaps Marion can find his own smooth sailing. Glad to hear your mother had a good day too!!

  • I'm glad you had another good day, and mother seems to be improving too. I pray for more days like that for you both. I'm sorry Marion isn't doing so well. Maybe someone can encourage &/or help him with his scanning project.

  • another beautiful meal ~ :)

  • We have taken care of three elderly family members in our life. It is with love, but it is challenging.

As usual, you food is amazing.

  • I'm glad that Mother had a good day. And Harrison is so precious!

  • Harrison looks concerned for his grand-uncle.

  • Oh that meal looks to die for ...except for the cow that did die for it. I thought of you the other day when I found okra crisps at the fruit stand. Whole okra fried to a perfect crisp and lightly salted - can't be good for you but they were DELICIOUS. You're the only one I know who makes okra besides me.

  • The picture of the players looks unchanged ?However things change slowly . Whatever I wish your mother and Marion were going better , step to step. And for youn, the same, John

  • As usual, I'm drooling over your meal. Glad you had a good day.
