close up
Tilapia for lunch today, with patacónes, steamed okra and stewed turnip. Avocado on the side.We put in some time at the park. Leaving the Durango at the library, we made it almost to Cornersville Road before turning back.
From the park, we drove to Walmart, getting gas for the Durango and key ingredients for tomorrow's planned salad. Mary had her hair cut, just before SmartStyle closed.
72.2 °F, clear.

The photo of the cornflower is beautiful! I'm going to have to try to make the okra steamed - it looks so tasty and not at all slimy!
I love that you got to see geese at the park!
Cornflowers are brighteners of a normal day. I also enjoy seeing Canadian Geese, though they tend to bother Hispanics here in the West, for some reason. Glad you are getting out and enjoying the fine Spring air.
Mary insists on calling them patos...ducks. Heh.
Whoa, excellent close-up of the cornflower!
Avocado: I can't get past its greasiness. Blech.
