Cod fish for lunch today, with a spicy chicken tamale and a steamer of broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, corn, mushrooms, red peppers and water chestnuts.Watched more World Cup action.
Took a check to deposit at First Farmers.
We watched Her (2013) from Netflix. Spanish language option. Joaquin Phoenix's character falls in love with a computer generated personality. Interesting idea poorly executed. Two hours are too much for this ho-hum semi-romance. Mary fought sleep all the way through.
Watched night come on from the outpost.
73.4 °F, clear.

The lunch looks tasty! I heard the same review from someone else. I don't think I'll pay to rent or view that one. Maybe if it ever comes on TV I'll take a peek...
The fish looks really tasty ~ the movie sounds blah ~ LOL!
sundown at the outpost?
Yep.
There was a movie from years gone by that I enjoyed called Electric Dreams, where a man's computer essentially came alive, and fell in love with him. It ultimately got angry and jealous of humans though. Perhaps you've heard of it?
It's a recurring theme, man interacting with computers/robots.
That Her movie sounded a bit too weird for me. But I think that my movie-loving friend will be watching it soon and I hope he gives me a review on it as well.
That was an odd movie. Something about it grabbed me, though. Maybe because it was set in my city, so there was a mood/ambiance I could relate to. I think it had potential to be better than it was.
