Didn't go outside at all today. Maybe I can get rid of this sinus drainage before it brings on bronchitis.

Anna brought Leah, as usual. Leah was subdued, by her standards. Totally ignored my headphones, cameras, etc.

Salmon for lunch, with stewed butternut squash, steamed okra, and tomato. Apple and pear appetizers.

Deborah called: David has worked himself up to a 1,000-piece puzzle.

Andrea came with Harrison for a visit.

Soon after she left, Denise popped by for Leah, who was working on a three-hour nap.

I listened to rainstorms on my new iPhone app.

    74.8 °F, clear.

  • Sounds to me like Leah is not feeling well. Perhaps she is coming down with a bug... I hope not and that you have not been exposed! I think some extra vitamin C might be prudent!

  • Vitamin C is good. I have some stuff called On-Guard, that I could send you, as well. It cleared my sinuses right away, last night.

    • Thanks for the offer. I suppose you are referring to "OnGuard Essential Oil". I will look further into it.

  • I hope you get better, not worse, and sooner than later.
For Leah to take a 3 hour nap, I wonder if that means she is going through a growth spurt. I've always heard children grow when they sleep.

  • Feel better tomorrow!

  • One thing I learned raising 3 kids. When they got sick we all got sick--for 20 years.

I always love your food photos. Amazing.

  • I hope leah and you are well.
    I like the last photo
